Is this allowed? Yes — here are the rules
- The card holds only money from a winning ticket
- It is loaded at your store, by you or your clerk
- The customer can use it later
- You honor your own card when they come back
- It can never be turned into cash, change, or currency
- Reloadable or non-reloadable — your choice
Georgia law, O.C.G.A. § 50-27-71.1 — the Georgia Lottery's July 1, 2026 notice lists gift cards as a legal way to redeem a Class B ticket. The law does not name any company.
